Rolex Prices in Dubai: What Sets the Price of a Daytona, GMT-Master II or Day-Date

By Luxury PerpetualBuying Guides
Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126500LN in steel with black dial

Rolex prices in Dubai depend on the reference, the metal, the dial and the condition of the individual watch, and on the secondary market they move week to week. That is why this guide does not print a price list that would be out of date by next month. Instead it explains what sets the price of each popular Rolex family and links to the watches we have in stock, where you can see the current price or ask us for it.

Start with the essentials when you compare two listings:

  • Confirm the full reference, metal and dial, not just the model name.
  • Check the condition and the year on the papers.
  • Ask exactly what comes with the watch: box, papers and warranty card.
  • Compare like-for-like examples in the same currency.
  • Confirm the final price, delivery and payment in writing.

You can see the full range in our Rolex collection.

Rolex Daytona prices in Dubai

The Daytona is the most requested Rolex we sell. Steel references such as the 126500LN sit at the entry point of the family. Gold and platinum cases, meteorite and Sundust dials, and gem-set bezels such as the Rainbow sit far above them, so two “Daytonas” can differ in price many times over.

Rolex GMT-Master II prices in Dubai

Steel GMT-Master II references, such as the “Pepsi” 126710BLRO, are the most accessible way into the family. White gold versions and the meteorite dial carry a large premium over steel.

Rolex Day-Date prices in Dubai

The Day-Date is only made in precious metals, so even the entry point is higher than steel sports models.

Datejust, Oyster Perpetual and Sky-Dweller prices

Several Submariner, Explorer, Air-King and Yacht-Master references in our collection are priced on request. Ask us for today’s price.

What moves a Rolex price in Dubai

  1. Reference and metal. A steel Daytona and a platinum Daytona are different watches on the price list, even though they share a name.
  2. Dial. Meteorite, gem-set and special dials, such as the Sundust or the “Puzzle” dial, add a large premium.
  3. Condition and year. An unworn watch from a recent year is priced above a worn example of the same reference.
  4. Box and papers. A full set with the original warranty card is easier to resell and holds its value better.
  5. Demand. The most requested models trade above their retail price on the secondary market, and the gap changes over time.

Buying a Rolex in Dubai safely

The safest way to buy on the secondary market is from a dealer who inspects every watch before it is listed. Read how we check authenticity and our 8 checks before buying a pre-owned watch in Dubai.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I see the current price of a Rolex?

On each listing. Prices are shown in UAE dirhams by default and you can switch the currency on any listing. Where a watch is priced on request, ask us and we will confirm today’s price.

Why do Rolex prices change?

Secondary-market prices follow demand, so the same reference can cost more or less from one month to the next. We confirm the current price of the individual watch before you decide.

Can I sell my Rolex in Dubai?

Yes. Tell us about your watch on our sell your watch page and our team will come back to you.

Do you deliver outside Dubai?

Yes, we deliver internationally. See our delivery page or contact us for details for your country.

Collector’s notes

01The inscription

Rolex · Ref. 6239 · 1968

Joanne Woodward gave Paul Newman this Daytona and had a message engraved on the back: “DRIVE CAREFULLY ME”. Collectors had long used his name for this style of dial. In 2017 his own watch sold at Phillips in New York for US$17,752,500.

02The double signature

Patek Philippe · Ref. 5711/1A-018 · 2021

Patek Philippe made 170 of these steel Nautilus watches for the 170th anniversary of its partnership with Tiffany & Co. Both houses signed the blue dial. The first example sold at Phillips for US$6,503,500 in 2021, benefitting The Nature Conservancy.

03The gold bezel

Audemars Piguet · Ref. 5402 · 1978

Gérald Genta acquired this example of his own design in 1978. Look at the contrast between the yellow-gold bezel and the steel bracelet. According to his family, Genta’s atelier made the bezel. Sotheby’s described the watch as possibly unique when it came to auction in 2022.
